LAKE — Graveside services for Lelia Carolyn Gould Johnson, 80, of Deville, La., who died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at St. Francis Cabrini in Alexandria, La., will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Salem Cemetery in Lake.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born April 25, 1935, in Forest, the daughter of Calvin Lee Gould and Addie Myers Gould.
She lived in Vidalia for more than 30 years. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Johnson lived in Deville for the past 11 years and was a member of Richie Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Bobby Joe Johnson; one daughter, Glenda Faye Wilson; one grandson, Christopher William Jones; four brothers, Billy, Tom, C.L. and Willie Lee Gould; and one sister, Claudia Faye Gould.
Survivors include one son, Joe Lee Johnson and wife, Vicky, of Deville; granddaughter, April Jo Johnson of Alexandria; one grandson, Jason Lee Jones and wife, Shanna, of Union; three great-granddaughters, Emily LeBorde of Alexandria and Alexis and Rylee Jones of Union; one brother, Charles Gould and wife, Virginia, of Sebastopol; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
