FERRIDAY — Funeral services for Vernon Crum, 68, of Meridian, formerly of Ridgecrest, who died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, in Meridian, will be 2 p.m. today at Dunbarton Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Wagoner officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of services at the church.
Mr. Crum was a retired sales manager for Automotive Machine Shop in Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mildred Crum; three brothers, H.L. Crum Jr., Charles Nelson Crum and Danny Glenn Crum; and one sister, Ruby Crum.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Crum; three daughters, Elisha Crum Brown and husband, Jessie, of Ferriday, Paula Diane Lucas and Stacy Howington of Little Rock, Ark., and Sybil Denise Cummings of Meridian; four brothers, Jimmy Crum and wife Polly of Ferriday, Kenneth Crum and wife, Judy, of Harrisonburg, Tommy Crum of Vidalia and Jerry Crum and wife, Dee, of Hattiesburg; five sisters, Ann Fair of Monterey, Barbara Gayle of Covington, Jean Moffett of Natchez, Betty Fletcher of Ellettsville, Ind., and Ruthie Olds and husband, Wallace, of Morristown, Tenn.; a beloved sister-in-law, Dale Graham of Ridgecrest; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tracie Brown, Michael Brown, Trent Lemoine, Charles Earls, Kevin Graham and Cody Crum.
Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Brown, Speedy Wilson, Stacy Howington, William Littleton, Jerry Barnes and Jarrod Barnes.
