VIDALIA — Memorial services for Virginia Heatley, 86, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at Camelot Leisure Living in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Vidalia.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Heatley was born June 6, 1929, in Lapeer County, Mich., the daughter of Willard Harris and Madge Griswold Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Leo Edwin Harris.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Leo “Jim” James Heatley; one daughter, Ardis Brown and husband, Percy, of Gonzales, La.; one son, Lester C. Heatley and wife, Linda, of Yuma, Ariz.; one brother, Terry Harris of Millington, Mich.; one sister, Maxine De Bruyn of Holland, Mich.; five grandsons, Joshua Heatley, Eric Heatley, Matthew Heatley, Lee Brown and Anthony Willin; three granddaughters, Monica Braud, Jennifer Daigle and Tami Heatley; and nine great-grandchildren.
