NATCHEZ — Services for Margie L. “Mimi” Baroni Barrett, 91, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday until service time at the church.

Mrs. Barrett was born June 15, 1924, in Natchez, the daughter of Mario Baroni and Marie Viccinelli Baroni.

She was a member of St. Mary Basilica. She was a retired chief deputy tax assessor of Adams County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward H. Barrett Sr.; one sister, Mary Rose Bonham; one brother-in-law, Edward Bonham; one sister-in-law, Mary Baroni and one niece, Mary Ann Vines.

Survivors include two sons, Edward H. Barrett Jr. and wife, Lorre, of Oxford and Michael Wayne Barrett and wife, Debi, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; one daughter, Betty Marie White of Natchez; grandchildren, Allison Manning, Ellen Simons, Susan Margaret Johnson, Leighton Strong, Kathryn Meloan Barrett, Molly Barrett, Reagan White, Kim Smith, Trisha Spence, Michelle Johnson, Lesley Barrett, Jessica Barrett, Stacy Ward and Dusty Johnson; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Mario Baroni of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
