NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Tyrone “TP” Paxton, 51, of Dallas, formerly of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in Dallas, will be 9 a.m. Saturday at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home.

A private burial will follow at the Bedford Plantation Cemetery in Cannonsburg under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Mr. Paxton was born July 24, 1965, in Natchez, the son of Roosevelt Johnson and Mary Moore Paxton.

Tyrone was a 1983 graduate of North Natchez High School. He continued his education at Jackson State University and Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson. He was also served in the U.S. Marines Corp.

Tyrone was athletic and loved to draw.

Survivors include one daughter, Tori Paxton; three sisters, Addie Robinson, Mary Ann Proby and Shunda Wilson; special friends, Elva Blackwell and Greg Terrell; and other relatives and friends.
