WOODVILLE — Services for Frances Ann Dennis, 52, of Centreville, who died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Field Memorial Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Zion Baptist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Charles Prater officiating.   06:10 FrancesADennis obitpic

Burial will follow at Prater’s Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel in Natchez and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Dennis was born Dec. 15, 1963, in Natchez, the daughter of Alex and Beatrice Dennis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Mildred Rayford, Lucille Oubre, Cora Johnson and Irene Turner; five brothers, Johnnie Lee Dennis, Irish Lee Dennis, Walter Turner Jr., Leonard Dallas Turner and Walter “Sonnyman” Turner; and two grandchildren, Breanna Jones and Desmond Dennis Jr.

Survivors include a devoted fiancé, Roy Anderson of Gloster; two daughters, Cheryl and Tiffany Dennis of Centreville; two sons, Marcus Dennis of Ohio and Desmond Dennis of Centreville; three sisters, Annie Lee Dennis of Natchez, Bessie Duplessis of Centreville and Barbara Dunn and husband, Issac, of Woodville; seven extended sisters, Mary Prater and husband, Johnny, of Natchez, Lila Johnson and Addie Dorsey and husband, James, of Woodville, Savannah Trask and husband, John, of Chicago, Bessie Stewart of Baton Rouge, Sarah Groom of Los Angeles and Mary Davis of San Francisco; four brothers, Charles Prater and wife, Emiley, of Dallas, Albert Dennis and wife, Claudie, and Jessie Dennis of Woodville, James Dennis and wife, Ruthie, of Natchez; extended brothers, Ivory Joe Turner of Woodville, Eugene Turner and wife, Nancy, of Baton Rouge and Emanuel Turner of Lakeland, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
