Wannie Trisler

JONESVILLE — Funeral services for Wannie Trisler, 91, of Jonesville, who died Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Rapides General Medical Center, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mayna Church of God of with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.
Burial will follow at Palo Alto in Mayna, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Trisler was born Sept. 16, 1924 in Selena, La.
W. E. proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps in the 15th Air Corps Division during World War II.
Ryker was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Trisler; mother, Lucy White Trisler; wife, Doris Speights Trisler; daughter-in-law, Patty Trisler; and son-in-law, Bob Reeves.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth Trisler of Jonesville; daughter, Gloria Trisler Reeves of Ferriday; five grandchildren, Heidi Peterson and husband, Dave, Emily Arnold and husband, Shane, Bert Reeves and wife, Tierney, Luke Reeves and Lucy Keith and husband, Jim.
Pallbearers will Bert Reeves, Luke Reeves, Shane Arnold, Jim Keith and Dave Peterson.
