ROXIE — Graveside services for Tommy Aldridge, 72, who died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stampley Woodyear Fulton Cemetery in Roxie.
Burial will follow under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.
Mr. Aldridge was born Aug. 14, 1944 in Franklin County, the son of David and Ouida Butler Aldridge.
He worked for many years as a welder and boilermaker, and then was the owner/operator of Town and Country Auto Sales in Natchez. He served in the Mississippi National Guard.
He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
Mr. Aldridge was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Betty Jackson Aldridge; daughter Sherry Aldridge Roberts and husband Jerry of Roxie; son Bobby Aldridge and wife Chasity of McComb; brother Robert Aldridge and wife Deloris of Hamburg; sister Marty Aldridge Sandifer and husband Allen of Ruston, La.; grandson Allen Everhart and wife Ashley; great-granddaughter Avah Everhart; and a host of family and friends.
