NATCHEZ — Services for Leroy Bradford Jr., 38, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, in Houston, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Hill Baptist Church No. 1 with the Rev. Joe W. Pickett officiating. 

Burial will follow at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. today with a celebration of life at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Visitation will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Bradford was born April 27, 1978, in Natchez, the son of Leroy Bradford Sr. and Mary Agnes Griffin.

He was a 1997 graduate of Natchez High School and was a former field technician for Comcast Communications.

He was also a member of Brookhollow Baptist Church-The Church Without Walls. He enjoyed traveling and being with friends at Dave and Buster’s.

Mr. Bradford was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theodore Collie Minor Sr., Laura B. Minor and Walter Bradford; one aunt, Susie Mae Bradford; one uncle, Melvin Bradford; and one cousin, Delvry Minor.

Survivors include his parents; one brother, Nicholas Bradford; three sisters, Shonda Minor, Canetra Bradford and Jamela Bradford; grandmother, Mary Bradford; three nephews, Christian Bradford, Traveles Matthews Jr. and Jaylen Griffin; one niece, Evelyn Janae Matthews; eight aunts; four uncles; and a number of other relatives and friends.
