NATCHEZ — Services for Dewayne Roy Dudley, 60, of Newellton, La., who died Friday, March 17, 2017, in Shreveport, La., will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dudley was born Jan. 18, 1957, in Natchez, the son of Walton Rubin Dudley and Gussie McCracken Dudley.
He was a member of Union Church in Newellton and was a faithful and dedicated member of Alcoholic Anonymous for 17 years.
Mr. Dudley was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wesley R. Dudley.
Survivors include his wife, Emily D. Dudley; three children, Shane R. Dudley and wife, Ashley, and Bo R. Dudley, all of Laurel, and Aimee D. Foster and husband, Kris, of Newellton; four grandchildren, Brayden Dudley, Addyson Foster, Avery Foster and Ainsley Foster; two brothers, Charles R. Dudley of Purvis and Lavoyd Ray Dudley of Mize; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Foster, Hank Hodges, Will Manning, Bill Crigler, Juan Mora and Brian Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Hage and Scotty Craft.
