NATCHEZ — Services for Earl Green Sr., 79, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at his residence, will be noon Saturday at Daughter of Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanford Cruel officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel.
Mr. Green was born April 1, 1937, in Stampley, the son of Paris Green and Inetta Lee.
He was a retired mechanic from Adams County and Natchez-Adams School District transportation department.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ruby McNair and Mattie Chaney; and four brothers, David Chaney, Allen Chaney, Dan Green and Marshall Green.
Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Levator Felton Green; four sons, Earl Green Sr., Anthony Green, Matt Arthur Green and Maurice Hawkins; two stepdaughters, Debra Miller and husband, Edward, and Janice Sheely and husband, Leroy; two stepsons, Wyatt Felton and the Rev. Joe W. Pickett and wife, Minerva; two grandchildren, Kadedra Miller and husband, Tony, and Shuntrona Green; one sister, Senetta Smith; two brothers, Cleveland McNair and wife, Louise, and Clarence Green and wife, Rose; a special niece Mary Gladys Johnson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
