NATCHEZ — Services for William T. “Bill” Brewer, 76, of Natchez, who died Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be 11 am. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Kramer officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral time.

Mr. Brewer was born Jan. 8, 1941, in Natchez, the son of Joseph Dexter Brewer and Eula Lee Morgan Brewer.

He was a well-respected oil and gas specialist known throughout Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. Mr. Brewer loved country music and western movies and books.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Irene Booker Brewer.

Survivors include four sons, William T. Brewer Jr. and wife, Mary, of Pineville, La.; Christopher L. Brewer of Calhoun, La., Hank Brewer of Natchez, and Jonathan D. Brewer and wife, Shannon, of Calhoun; one daughter, Valda T. Harveston, and husband, Barry, of Natchez; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Joseph Brewer and wife, Diane, of Gonzales, La.

Pallbearers will be members of the Masonic order of the Masons.
