NATCHEZ — Services for Larry Hunt Jr., 46, of Natchez, who died Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Living Word Worship Center in Natchez with the Rev. Dwight Greene officiating.      

Burial will follow at Hunt Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Hunt was born May 4, 1971, in Natchez, the son of Larry Hunt Sr. and Janet Morris Hunt-Gordley.

Larry enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Tanya Hunt; grandmother, Amy Hunt; grandfather, L.C. Hunt; and aunt, Jackie Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Thamathy Banks Hunt; his mother and husband, Willie, of San Antonio, Texas; his father and wife, Alice, of Natchez; two daughters, Brienna Washington and Raven King; two sons, Larry Hunt and Braxton Hunt; grandmother, Julia Kelly and husband, Robert, of Natchez; two siblings, Nicole Carlos-Valentino and husband, Mata, of San Francisco and Derrick Hunt of San Antonio; mother-in-law, Shirley Banks; father-in-law, Herbert Banks; two sisters-in-law, Janice Fletcher and husband, Tony, and Christinia Tenner; and a number of other relatives and friends.
