VIDALIA — Visitation for Nigel “Girl” Gore, 97, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Vidalia First Baptist Church under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gore was born March 5, 1920, the daughter of Robert and Jean Stafford. She was a member of Vidalia First Baptist Church and a resident of Vidalia since 1959.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Travis Gore; and her son, Lyman S. Gore.

Survivors include one son, Brent Gore and wife, LoLynn; one daughter, Kay Savant and husband, Robbie; five grandchildren, Michael Gore, Jason Gore, Lori Gore Hodges and husband, Eric, Heath Savant and wife, Amber, and Carol Loy and husband, Josh; and five great-grandchildren.
