WATERPROOF — Services for Benard Clark Jr., 62, of Ferriday, formerly of Waterproof, who died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Riverland Medical Center, will be 1 p.m. today at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Leroy Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Clark was born Jan. 25, 1956, in Waterproof, the son of Benard and Rosetta Campbell Clark.

He was a farmer.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Chasity and Lana Clark; and two sisters, Rosetta Clark and Toy Fay Clark.

Survivors include two sons, Herman Clark and wife, Janelle, of Ferriday, and Fabian Clark of Waterproof; two daughters, Kona Clark and Dove Clark, both of Ferriday; two brothers, Church C. Clark of Waterproof and Tacy C. Clark and wife, Sara, of Ridgecrest; three sisters, Dorothy C. Wiley and Valerie Clark of Waterproof, and Shante C. Ferrow and husband, Undra, of Houston; nine grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
