VIDALIA — Services for Mary “Frances” Woodside, 67, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Colfax Reunion Nursing and Rehab Center in Colfax, La., after a long illness, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Baptist Church, 501 Clinton St., in Vidalia, with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Miss Woodside was born March 27, 1951, in Vidalia, the daughter of Junius and Maudella Richardson Woodside.

She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Vidalia and a former correctional officer.

Survivors include two children, Tedrick “Teddy” Woodside and wife, Demetrius, of Pineville, La., and Wanell Woodside of Houston; four brothers, Harvey Woodside and Leonard Feltus of Sacramento, Calif., Theodore Woodside and wife, Kathy, of San Francisco, and Harry Joe Woodside of New Orleans; two sisters, Lela Williams and husband, Henry, of Riverside, Calif., and Linda Spears of Humble, Texas; one sister-in-law, Gloria Woodside of New Orleans; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
