NATCHEZ — Services for Katie Mae Fletcher, 97, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 5:30 p.m.
Visitation will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Fletcher was born Oct. 22, 1920, in Adams County, the daughter of Charlie Hayes and Minnie Warfield Hayes.
She was a homemaker. She was also a member of Southwood Lodge Baptist Church where she served as a choir member and as an usher.
Fletcher was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Fletcher; her parents; one daughter, Annie Mae Washington; one son, Charlie Fletcher; and one grandson, James Albert King.
Survivors include four daughters, Mamie Briscoe, Beatrice King, Katie Wesley and husband, Larry, Ethel Rose Thompson and husband, Franklin, of Dallas; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
