VIDALIA — Funeral services for Virginia DeWitt Lewis Smith, 75, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Don Bush officiating.

Burial will follow at the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 7, 1942 in Delhi, Louisiana, the daughter of Floyd DeWitt Lewis and Henry Etta Nunnery Lewis.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister of Carmen Bass.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Larry Smith of Vidalia, Louisiana; one son: Jeff Smith and wife, Danette, of Swartz, Louisiana; two grandchildren: Spencer and Riley Smith of Swartz, Louisiana; and a number of cousins and other family members.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
