FERRIDAY — Services for Annie Ruth Byrnes White, 85, of Ferriday, will be 2 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel with the Rev. Larry Whittington officiating.   
Burial will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Wisner, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. White attended Westside Baptist Church and was a retired register clerk who loved working in her yard and cooking so she could feed any and all that came by.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Maudie Rials; her husbands, George Byrnes Sr. and Hartwell “Buddy” White; daughter-in-law, Janet Byrnes; son-in-law, G.B. Bordelon; seven brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Merrill and husband, Buddy, of Monterey, Georgia Cavin and husband, Butch, of Helena, Ark., and Judy “Noonie” Bordelon of St. Francisville, La.; one son, George “Spud” Byrnes Jr. of Ferriday; one sister, Velma Calhoun of Vidalia; six grandchildren, Tonya Bramlett and husband, Jeremy, and Dusty Edwards and wife, Wendy, all of Helena, Jeannie Archer and husband, Jason, and Cassey Byrnes, all of Ferriday, Lacy Bennett and husband, Daniel, of Many, La., and Brandon Bordelon and wife, Taylor, of Bogue Chitto; five great-grandchildren, Hayden Webb, Maddie Webb, Miley Bordelon and Mistin Grantham and Baby Bennett; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Carl Henry, Herman Rials, Jeff Rials, Jay Calhoun, Casey Calhoun and Johnny Henry.
