Natchez – Services for Eula Lee Allen, 90, of Natchez, who died Thursday December 12, 2019, in Natchez, will be 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019 at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. until service time on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019 at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allen was born Nov. 7, 1929, in Stanton the daughter of Lee Buckles and Lydia Mae Bromley Buckles.

She was a member of Stanton Baptist Church in Stanton. She was an excellent cook, and was always helping other people.

Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Morris Ford; husband L. C. Allen; one daughter Brenda G. Weathersby; two sons Roger W. Ford and Walter L. Ford; four brothers, John E. Buckles, Donald E. Buckles, Aubrey L. Buckles and Bennie E. Buckles.

Survivors include one son, David G. Ford and wife Lynn of Denham Springs, La.; two sisters, Alice S. Fairbanks of Kilgore, Texas, and Doris E. Tarver and husband Sonny of Clinton, La., and one brother James B. Buckles of Baton Rouge.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to Stanton Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
