NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Darrell Derwine Harris, 62, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Friday, June 7, 2024, in Natchez will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Zion Chapel #2 Church in Kingston with Pastor Stanley Searcy, Jr., officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 3:30 until 4:30 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Darrell was born Oct. 8, 1961, the son of Estell Harris and Robert Harris. He was a graduate of North Natchez High School and was a member of Zion Chapel #2 Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking.

He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Rev. Robert Harris and Ethel Seifert, and Douglas and Stella Hayes McFarland.

Darrell leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Estell Harris; sons, Darrell Harris and Darren Harris; daughter, Brittanie Harris Dennard (Quayshawn); brothers, Robert Harris (Gloria), Calvin Harris (Audrey), and Larry Harris; sisters, Hazel Morgan (Lee Arthur) and Rose Harris Green; and a host of other relatives

and friends.
