JENNINGS, La. — The Jennings Bulldogs celebrated homecoming in a big way as they jumped out to a big lead and rolled to an easy 50-8 win over the Ferriday Trojans Friday night.

Jennings scored 27 points in the first quarter before Ferriday got on the board with a touchdown and two-point conversion. The Bulldogs added 17 points in the second quarter for a commanding 44-8 halftime lead. They scored their final touchdown nearly midway through the third quarter.

Ferriday (1-4) begins LHSAA District 2-2A play next Friday at Jonesboro-Hodge with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
