BATON ROUGE — Memorial services for Thomas Henry “Tommy” Foster Jr., 48, who died Saturday, March 5, 2011, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge.

Mr. Foster was born July 23, 1962, the son of Thomas Henry Foster and Jean C. McKelroy. He was a well respected man who will always be remembered for his work in the food service industry. He was currently employed by Performance Food Group of Houma, La.

Tommy will always be remembered by his kindness that he showed to others and his devotion to his only son, Matthew.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, John Roy Foster.

Survivors include one son, Matthew Foster of Vidalia; his mother; one sister, Larita Allison and husband, Ken; one nephew, Ricky Rogers Jr.; three nieces, Nina Anderson, Tabitha Buehler and Elizabeth, all of Stamps, Ark.; and a number of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a charity of choice.
