Natchez Adams School District Deputy Superintendent Zandra McDonald said police are investigating the vandalism at the school, which she believes may have occurred at approximately 3 p.m. Sunday.

Maintenance workers had already washed some of the marks off of the building by Monday afternoon.

“At this time, we don’t have any reason to believe our students were involved,” McDonald said. “We are currently working with our local law enforcement officers to resolve this issue. … All classes will continue as scheduled.”
